The Icon Corner

Every Orthodox Christian home has an icon corner. It does not matter whether one is a single young person living in a studio appartment, a college dorm, or a married adult living in a large house - the icon corner is always there. It is a place to gather oneself together and give oneself to God. It is a place of prayer; a place of peace.

They do this by bringing before our eyes and into our hearts the lives of those in the Kingdom of God who are important to us: Christ Jesus Our Lord, His Holy and Blessed Mother Mary, and many of the Saints and martyrs who have gone before us into the kingdom of Heaven.
